He was adored by his family, friends and neighbors. He served under the airborne in the Army and he retired from General Motors after 42 years. When he wasn’t helping his family and friends, he enjoyed: golfing, hunting, fishing and rooting for his favorite sports teams.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 33 years, Marce. He is also survived by his children: Melissa, Shannan, Shawn, Kristina and Ashley; his father, James; his Aunt Virginia “Ginny” Cogan; his brothers, Randy (Sue) and Lonnie; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy; brother, Donnie; and Uncle Leon Cogan.
The family would like to give a special thanks to his oncology office, Dr. Layhe; the McLaren hospice team and Mary.
