Age 93, of Mason, passed away July 22, 2012.  He was born November 17, 1918, in McKeese Rocks, PA.  John was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army for several European campaigns.  He worked in Plant Protection at Motor Wheel, and was a security guard at Michigan National Bank before operating his own business, Veteran Sewer and Plumbing.  John was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Frankie in 2008, as well as 7 siblings.

Surviving are: 3 children, Kitty (Ron) Risk of Lake Odessa, Connie Sue (Daniel) Davey of Williamston, and John J. (Doreen) Pavlik of Mason; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

 The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, with interment to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, where military honors will be provided by Browne – Cavender Post #148 American Legion.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, where the Rosary will be prayed at 8:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice in memory of John Pavlik.
