Age 75, of Dimondale, passed away on July 16, 2012. He was born January 19, 1937, in Camden, NJ, the son of Charles and Grace Marchant.

David served with the U.S. Marines, spent 27 years working for Melling Drop Forge, and was a member of Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Donna; children, Kamella (James) Dykstra, Jeffrey Marchant, Gregory Marchant and loving former daughter-in-law Donna Kirby, Eric (Melanie) Marchant; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Peter (Ann) Marchant; and many nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2012, at Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1001 N. Capitol Ave., Lansing, with Pastor Paul J. Lindloff officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
