Age 103, of Lansing, passed away December 29, 2011. She was born on February 23, 1908 in Coe Twp., MI, the daughter of Artemas and Evangeline Mary Taylor.

Dorothy was a longtime member of Pennway Church of God. She was a talented seamstress, sewing for all walks of life. For many years she volunteered making lap robes for RSVP. Even with the loss of her vision, all of her crocheting was done by memory.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, David C. Mulford; children, Verlene (Gene) Ritter of East Lansing, Audalene (Ray) Dean of Port Orange, FL, and Diana (David) DeNike of Charlotte; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-great-grandchildren; brother, Artemas Taylor; and sister, Marvel Mathis. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Lucille Crispin, and brother Charles Taylor.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2012, at Pennway Church of God, 1101 E. Cavanaugh, Lansing, MI, 48910, with visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Pennway Church of God.
