Age 66, of Lansing, passed away on March 15, 2011. He was born in Grand Rapids on April 23, 1944 the son of Robert H. Jost, Sr. and Violet Lillian (Hanson) Jost.

He worked for Meijer Warehouse for 37 years retiring in 2006.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Leslie (Dykema) Jost; daughters, Amy Jost and Leslie (Robert, Jr.) Dilts; grandsons, Thomas, Brandon, William and Troy Dilts; brothers, Joe (Arlene) Jost, Louie (Nina) Jost; brother-in-law, David (Elizabeth) Dykema; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert H. Jost, Jr., sisters Mary (Jost) Granger and Frances (Jost) Bushman, and special fishing partner Richard McIntyre.

The family would like to thank Capital Area Health and Rehabilitation Center and Heartland Hospice for the gentle loving care they gave him.

A private family memorial service was held in Grand Rapids. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Olds Newsboys or Michigan Lions Club in memory of Thomas.
