Jerry "Tink" LockardBorn February 10, 1958 in Grand Rapids, Michigan son of Jerry Arthur Lockard, Sr. and Maureen Rae (Crowley) Lockard passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at age 58.

Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Lynette Lockard; their children, Kristi (Josh) Taylor and Joseph (Stephanie Davis) Lockard; seven grandchildren, Storm, Caitlynn, Joshua, Savannah, Nyah, Zoey, and Jacob; his parents, Jerry, Sr. and Maureen Lockard; siblings, Sue (Rick) Thompson, Jan (Donald) Scott, and Jill (Todd) Simms; many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and his close friend and golfing buddy, Bob Hicks.

Jerry loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren; was a loyal  MSU fan, and avid golfer and enjoyed mushrooming.  His family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone at Shaheen Chevrolet for their support.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel with Preacher Bruce Wilson officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 28th from 5-8 p.m. and again on Tuesday for 1 hour prior to the service.  Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Sparta, Michigan on Wednesday, November 30th at 11:30 a.m.

    My thoughts and prayers to family and friends of Jerry. We worked together at Bud Kouts Chevy years ago. Jerry was a very sweet guy and fun to work with. Kristi, I didn’t realize the connection here…your dad was so nice to everybody at Kouts and he taught me a lot about the dealership industry. Hugs to you girl. I am so sorry.
