Age 87, of Lansing, MI, passed away May 18, 2016. He was born October 27, 1928, in Heil, North Dakota, to the late John and Matte Kramer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Kramer; sister, Stella Ternes; and brother, Delmar Kramer.

A celebration of Melvin’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Online condolences may be left for his family at www.EstesLeadley.com

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. I have very fond memories of him when he came to visit my parents. I always had a hug for him.

I’m sure your dad and my dad are now sharing stories. They will be watching over us from above. Big hugs to your family in his devastating time.

Dear Wanda, Danny, Ricky & Lisa, I am so sorry about your Dad’s passing. I’ll miss waving at him & Wanda @ DaVita. Your Dad was a nut! I loved him. Wanda, I’m so glad you had the privilege of caring for your Dad, as you did your Mom. You will cherish those days & memories forever. Now your Dad is in Heaven, perfect, no health issues, just perfect with His Heavenly Father & reunited with his Annie, your Mom. Love you all. ANN (& Dana)
