Gregory James DeMarcoAge 52, passed away suddenly on March 18, 2016, of natural causes.  He was born on August 8, 1963, the son of James and Ruth (Barnes) DeMarco.  He was a member of the Church of the Resurrection and the Knights of Columbus; a 1981 graduate of Lansing Eastern High School; and earned an Associates Degree from Lansing Community College.  He was employed with Cherry Capital Foods.  He loved bird hunting with his dog Fredo, and spending time with his nephews, Alec and Aidan Tober.  Surviving are his mother, Ruth Ann; 2 sisters, Anne Marie DeMarco and Renee (Eric) Tober; many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, James DeMarco in 1988.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at the Church of the Resurrection, 1505 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, with Rev. Fr. Steve Mattson as Celebrant.  The Rite of Committal will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church from 5-8 p.m. Monday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Church of the Resurrection.
