Holt, Michigan

Our loving father and grandfather passed away December 15, 2015, at age 65. He was born November 24, 1950, in Owosso, MI, to William and Mildred Irwin.

Tom enjoyed traveling, being by the water, cooking great meals, and listening to classic rock. He could be found most days spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing, and gardening. He was also a certified horticulturist. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching football.

Tom is survived by his son, Dustin (Joni) Irwin and children Taylor, Tayah, and Jayme; son, Brian Irwin; daughter, Jennifer Irwin; son, Dennis (Jennifer) Sokol and daughter Autumn Sokol; sisters, Judy (Troy) Wendell, Linda Reid, and Lois Davis; brother-in-law, Jim Rinehart; many nieces, nephews and other extended family; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Thomas Irwin, brothers Richard and David Irwin and sister Carol Rinehart.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with a time of reflection at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
