Age 68, of Owosso, passed away January 16, 2011.  He was born September 14, 1942, in Los Angeles, CA.  Lester was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army, and worked as a private investigator for 35 years, retiring in 2008.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl in 2005.  Surviving are:  his daughter, April (Jonathan) Archer of Owosso; 2 grandchildren, Hannah and Levi; and brother, Martin Kravitz of Carson, CA.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at Evergreen Cemetery, with Rabbi Michael Zimmerman officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society in memory of Lester Kravitz.  Arrangements by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

    Lester was a high school buddy. I am sorry to hear of his passing.
    My thoughts are with his children and grandchildren. I have many fond memories of Lester and our high school days together. m
