Age 88, of Holt, MI, passed away May 15, 2015.  He was born October 17, 1926, in Jackson, MI, to Clyde and Mildred DeLoach.  Bob graduated from Leslie High School where he was active in sports.  He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy in the Philippines.  Bob was the owner of Bob DeLoach’s Home Furnishings and Appliances in Holt for 37 years, retiring in 1990.  He was a people person, enjoying people watching and socializing.  Bob loved Big Band music, watching sports (especially when his sons or grandchildren were participating), and he enjoyed fixing things; even things that were not worth repairing.

Surviving are:  his wife of 65 years, JoAnn DeLoach; 3 children, Robin (Stephen) Young, Susan (Kirt) Baker, and Robert (Amber) DeLoach; 4 grandchildren, Jason, Theodore, Elizabeth, and Nathaniel; and great-grandson, James.  He was preceded in death by his son, James DeLoach, his parents and 3 brothers.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.  His family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Tuesday.  Private interment will take place in Maple Ridge Cemetery at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to MICOPS or the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Robert DeLoach.  Online condolences may be left for his family at www.EstesLeadley.com.
