Farewell, friend of my girlhood. We went to junior high and high school together and were frequent guests in each others’ houses. I always felt welcome at Joyce’s house. I haven’t seen her in thirty years but I remember her with love. We laughed together, went to Girl Scout Camp together, and I always had better grades when Joyce and I did homework together. My deepest condolences to the family. Rest in peace, my friend.

It has been many years since I last saw her, but I will always remember Mrs. Carter as a bright, beautiful, smart and spunky lady. May she rest in peace. All my best to the family.
