Age 75, of Dimondale, MI, was born December 8, 1938, in Owosso, Michigan to Victor and Maxine Spaniola, who both passed before her.  Thressa went into the loving arms of our Lord on Saturday, August 23, 2014.  Thressa was a graduate of Resurrection High School in Lansing, and was a member of St. Gerard’s Catholic Church in Lansing.  She was a devout Catholic.  Thressa will always be remembered as a kind and caring person, who was honest, outspoken, and a true friend.  Although Thressa faced many challenges in her life, she showed love and compassion to all.  She had a gift for reaching out to others, and believed in fairness and equality for all people.

She has one surviving sister, Colleen (Vince) Kuntz of Lansing, two brothers, Charles (Linda) Megill of Florida and Steve (Merry) Megill of Suttons Bay, Michigan.  She is survived by four daughters.  Thressa’s children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life.  Daughters are: Julie Marie Teed (David Neal), Lori Ann Barham (Chris), Kristine Terese Hudnut-Richard (Joseph) and Roen Anne (aka Mary Frances) (Ken) Stryker.   She has eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at 11:00 a.m.   A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Donations in her memory can be made to St. Gerard’s Catholic Church or a charity of your choice.
