David was a member of Mount Hope Church and loved his Lord with all his heart. He received his bachelor’s degree from Siena College and went on to retire in 2011 from GM following 34 years of service as a journeyman millwright. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed teaching his grandsons to fish. He also attained the rank of Eagle Scout. First and foremost, David was a provider for his wife and family.
He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Patricia; daughters, Monica (fiancé Matt Greene) Miller and Markie Miller; grandchildren, Cameron, Tanner and Kobe; sister, Linda Miller; sister-in-law, Donna (Robert) Voorhees; and nephew, John (Vickie) Miller. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Miller; his father, Roy Miller; father-in-law, Roscoe Neal; and mother-in-law, Frances Neal.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Interment will follow in Maple Ridge Cemetery in Holt. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
