We were saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. He is certainly a major part of many wonderful memories here at Higgins Lake and Colorado. His wisdom, sense of humor and ability to make everyone feel welcome in a group will be sincerely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Irene and the family.

Bill and Irene were a fun couple. We so enjoyed our skiing years together and would never let him know he was pure,”Poetry in Motion” on skiis….

Here we thought it was the National Guard making all the rumblings in the heavens over Higgins Lake….only to find out Bill had arrived at the pearly gates!!

I am sure St. Pete got quite an argument. Or maybe he gave him a hot dog wrapped in his left over pancakes from breakfast that morning.

We loved you Bill, but could NEVER say so.

Love to all the family, a piece of us died today.

Since first meeting Irene and Bill Anderson thru the Skyline ski group in the early 70’s, we cherish the almost 40 years of friendship that have added so much to our livrs, particularly since the time that we both made Higgins Lake our permanent home. Bill was always the gentleman and his endearing way of calling Irene “Mum” illustrated his
nature. He could tease and play during our good times together that will never be forgotten. We will miss you, Bill
