Wilfred “Joe” Pullman, Sr.

Age 94, of Okemos, formerly of Lansing, passed away on March 7, 2013. Wilfred was born in Custer, MI, on January 25, 1919, the son of Arza and Enza (Wheeler) Pullman. Wilfred retired from General Motors. He was First Vice President of the Retirees’ Local Chapter 652, worked on many democratic campaigns and was active in the Senior Citizens Council.

Wilfred was predeceased by his wife of 74 years, Mildred “Millie” Pullman; parents; four brothers, Charles, Willis, Robert and James Pullman; four sisters, Zella Sabin, Zelma Dodge, Zola Langley and Gladys Pullman; son-in-law, Richard Krieger; granddaughter, Kelli Cardwell; and great-grandson, Chad Cardwell. Surviving are his children, Betty (Lloyd) Hoffner, Wilfred J. (Lynda) Pullman, Jr. and Carol Krieger. Wilfred is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held Monday, March 11, 2013. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ICMCF in support of the Ingham County Medical Care Facility Foundation, 3860 Dobie Road, Okemos, MI 48864. Arrangements by Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.
