Being a friend of Mike, I have heard a great deal of things about his Grandpa. I know Mike really loved his Grandpa, and really looked up to him. Our prayers are for Mike, and his family during this loss of his Grandpa. Friends forever, Brewster.

It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be. Vernon was large as a husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of this wonderful man, Father, Grandfather, and “Coach”. He taught me how to be respectful, even as a young “hothead”. His gentle, soothing way of explaining things will always be carried in my heart and memory. He will always be “Mr. Lansing” to me.
