A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Church of the Resurrection, 1505 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. Her family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice or to St. Vincent Catholic Charities.

May 17, 2016 at 7:22 pmReniero, Roberto, Manuel, and Roberto, I grew up with you and your family in my life. Your mom was a very kind, generous and delightful person. I don’t think I ever left your house hungry and she was always eager for me to taste whatever it was she was cooking. A good part of my childhood was spent listening to the rapid flow of Spanish in your living room and at your dining room table. Many fond memories. I’m sorry for your loss.
