Dear Gary, Sandy and Families:

It’s not easy to say goodbye to someone you’ve known your entire life. To someone you’ve grown up with, along with brothers Gary, Jimmie and Joe. (Sandy came along a lot later…..)

Rocky, Penny and I had the best of times in the “old neighborhood”, where your mom was an extension of our mom. Where your home was an extension of ours.

They just don’t make neighborhoods like that anymore. We were blessed indeed.

We will cherish those memories and count ourselves lucky.

We shall miss yet another one of the Bofysil Boys who has gone to Heaven before us.

God bless you, Gary and Sandy and your wonderful families.

Bill and Bridget I am truly sorry for your loss. I will always remember the good times we had with Bob especially at MSU Tailgate Parties and spending time at your pool during the summer. Bob was a fun loving guy and will be missed. Love to you both.

Bill & Bridget,
We are so sad to hear about your dad. Many memories and smiles come to mind, especially the Trivial Pursuit and card games with your folks after MSU hockey games!
Bob was always quick to laugh and had a hug when you needed it. A good friend.

Prayers and love to you and your family.

i raced with Bob for many years and had the time of my life. I have many stories to tell about our time together and all were good (and some kinda weird/ funny but we won’t talk about that! ). We are losing to many good racers lately and Bob was one of them! God bless you and your family and i know you’ll be hanging out with Ron McQueen,Ron Dyer, my Dad,and all the other racers in heaven. Thanks for the memories! Gods Speed!!!!!!

Hello, Kate, I wanted to extend my condolences for the loss of your father-in-law. I know it’s always had to lose a family member. I bet your boys will enjoy hearing stories in the future about Grandpa Bob.

I worked for Bob at Spartan Diesel and Machine, a machine shop he owned in Lansing many years ago. Bob really looked out for his employees. I also remember him as a Drag Racer. My father, Dave, was a Drag Racer too. Bob will be missed, and remembered not only as a good friend but as a fair and decent man. Rest in Peace my friend! May God Bless and be with his family during this time, and always.
Sincerely,
