I would like to extend my deep regret and sympathy to the Edwards family on the passing of ‘Rick’ as we at the Data Center in Detroit called him.

Rick was a very dedicated hard worker who I have know for over twenty years of working together on many projects together.

Rick was always the go to person for our projects and was always expedient and supportive.

I will miss hearing his ‘cable guy’ answering message on his phone when we would have to call back and forth during migration work for the projects we worked together on.

I will truley miss Rick and my prayers will continue for the family.

With Regret,
Shirley Waller

I worked with Rick at Detroit Computing Center and was sad to hear of his passing. He was a dependable coworker who will be missed on a personal and professional level. I worked with Rick on a team where his great knowledge of the IT field really helped us succeed and meet our team goals. Many had this experience working with him. Rick made a difference, a positive difference, in the workplace.

Losing a father is difficult, and I will be praying for you, his family, as you grieve and adjust to this life change unlike any other. Knowing that one day you will see him again and that there will be no more goodbyes is little comfort at this difficult time, but in time the good memories of life with Rick will bring you comfort.

God bless you and your family at this time. Rick will be missed by many. We valued him as a person and professional team member.

I worked with Rick at the IRS. He was a wealth of knowledge in his area and he will be greatly missed. We traveled to many Disaster Recovery exercises and we always managed to keep one another sane during those long work days!

May good memories comfort you in this difficult time. I know I’m gonna miss my buddy!

I re-read all these comments every year, just to remember him even more. I miss you Dad everyday. No matter how much time passes I will always love you with all my heart. Never stop looking down on me
