Rebecca (Underwood) Spellman
Born Nov. 15, 1923, died Sept. 3, 2012 at age 88. She was of Holt, MI. She retired from MSP as a fingerprint tech, having worked over 30 years. She was a member of Holt United Methodist Church and Eastern Star for over 50 years.
Surviving are: her 3 daughters, Cathy (Bob) Stella, Betty (John) Hickling and Alice (Bob) Hickling; 3 grandchildren, Holly (Matt) Kunkle, Aaron (Jamie) Stella and Shara Hickling; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Jean Erspamer and Marilyn (Paul) Ewing. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Underwood.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2012, at Holt United Methodist Church, 2321 N. Aurelius Rd., with The Rev. Dr. Glenn M. Wagner officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Wanted to let you know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Was so glad we made the trip with Mom 5 yrs. ago & got to see everyone. Aunt Becky & my Mom always seemed to be pretty mischevious together!
She will be missed.

September 6, 2012 at 9:27 pmMy condolences to Becky’s family. I am an aide at Tendercare West and took care of her on both halls. She was a wonderful person and she is greatly missed. I will always remember her beautiful smile and how she would sleep in her chair ” so her hair wouldn’t get messed up!!” I am very sorry for your loss!!
