Godspeed, Penny. You are now forever pain free and flying with the “other” angels. Penny was a special inspiration to me in her battle with cancer and I am proud to have called her my daughter-in-law. I am also forever grateful that she gave me the gift of allowing me to be one of her caregivers.

We are praying for those you have left behind. Yet are glad you are now pain free. And know you were met in heaven by some really great people who will show you the ropes. Grandpa, Grandma, and dad welcomed you with open arms as did the family here on Earth. We will all be together again one day.

Penny inspired me every day as she fought this battle with cancer and the strength she had. As much as she had to go through she would still think positive and smile and laugh and I am so very proud to of been able to say “This is my sister-in-law” and we had some very nice chats I will always cherish. I love you Penny!!!

Penny was one of the first people I met at Walmart. She was so funny and nice and always had that beautiful smile on her face. She is a wonderful, beautiful soul and she will be missed tremendously. Hugs to Scot and the rest of her family during this so difficult time. Rest peacefully Penny, sweet girl. You are so loved.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Penny truly was a wonderful, kind and funny woman. We lost touch with our cousins many years ago after many happy memories as kids.
I was in Walmart one day about 4/5 years ago and happened to see this woman working in an aisle, it stopped me in my tracks. I asked if she was Penny Prince because she looked just like her dad. As it turned out, she was that smiling, giggling girl we’d known so long ago.
I am so happy to have gotten to know her again. We had many conversations in that store and it was wonderful to hear about her family and share my stories. God blessed me that day and I’m truly thankful I was able to reconnect with her.

From Uncle Paul And Aunt Leda

TO A VERY SPECIAL NIECE.

Penny God took all your pain away. Way did he take you from us?
I guess we will never know for sure.
Penny you will be missed
Love you with all our hearts

You laid there in that hospital
bed, you tried so hard to hold on.

God was calling you home. He needed
another angel to help poor out the rain.

Tears have fallen, hearts where shattered,
but it was time for you to fly home.

Your loved ones came to say their last goodbyes, to tell you they loved you, and that you will be forever missed.

As your heart beat stopped, and your eyes slowly closed,
God took another angel home.

Life….so fragile, Loss….so sudden, Heart….so broken.
Even though our time knowing Penny was far too brief, we feel blessed to have known her. She was a beautiful and amazing woman with her unwavering fighting spirit and courage.

We only wish that R.I.P. stood for [R] – Return.. [I] – if .. [P] – Possible.

Thinking of you, Penny Lee (Cook) Siegrist in friendship and sympathy.

My prayers go out to all the people who were fortunate enough to know her. May you be comforted by the fact that her suffering is over. Let us remember her in a way that will allow her memory to live on in our lives even thou she’s no longer here. Remember her when she was at her happinest so in some way she’ll still be able to bring some joy into our lives.

Penny you were a beautiful woman, inside and out. You had an infectious zest for life and a sense of humor that is unmatched.

I spent many breaks and lunches talking with you. You always listened and offered stories of your life or words of wisdom to help me understand or view things differently. I learned a great deal from you. I will proudly carry those life lessons with me and strive to pass them on to others.

It was a privileged to have known such an amazing soul. I take solace in knowing that you are no longer in pain and that you are somewhere else now spreading your joy and laughter to others.

Scot and the family, you are all in my thoughts.

My beautiful sister. My best and most treasured friend, I will miss you every day until I see you again. You were the funniest girl I knew. We always “got” each other when nobody knew what we were talking about. We had so many special talks. Those times when it was just you and I are special in every way. I remember like it was yesterday, sitting on the river bank and talking about life, your joys and sorrows. And you had both. And now you are at peace. And that brings me peace even when I cry for you. I miss you so very very much. God truly blessed me by giving me such a beautiful soul to share my life with. And I can’t wait until I hear your laughter once again. I love you dear sister and all that you are to me. Some things cannot be taken from us…memories, your laughter and all you left behind for us to remember. Now your life has truly begun.

Mom, we miss you so much! I tell the kids about you all the time. One day I will see you again & what a happy happy day that will be, until then I will look after our family in your absence. I will remember all of the good times & carry on your memory. I will be strong, but it hurts so bad. We miss you & wish we could have you back. I love you forever your daughter.

After I left Michigan and moved out East I lost contact with you. I found out through this obituary you were working only a few miles from where my daughter lived and where I visited twice a year. How I wish I had found you sooner. How I wish I could of given you a hug
I always thought of you as a beautiful, funny , kind , thoughtful woman whom I called my dear friend. How I loved spending many times with you and your kids when they were little. Now I’m going to have to wait to see you in heaven. God Bless you Miss Penny. Love you my friend
