Nicholas Colby Stallworth

Nicholas Colby Stallworth came into all of our lives on November 28, 1984.  The Lord chose March 3, 2014, as his homecoming.  Nicholas was an avid car-lover. He absolutely adored his family, and was always available to help with a smile. He graduated from Everett High School where he was a track star, and was also a member of Rivers of Life Church.

Nicholas leaves behind to cherish his memory: his mother Laurie Stallworth and his father Michael Stallworth, Sr. His siblings: Michael Stallworth Jr., Christoper Stallworth and Kaylin Stallworth. His nephew and nieces: Armondi Stallworth, Amaya Stallworth and Audrey Nicholson, all whom he truly adored. He also leaves 6 uncles and 7 aunts, several great-aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. Special friends: BJ “Albert” Roper and Sasha-Al Lee. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: David Jackson, Dorothy Miller, Roy Stallworth Jr. and Martha Stallworth.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2014, at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 500 S. MLK, Jr. Blvd., Lansing, with Pastor Jesse Brown of Rivers of Life Church officiating.  Interment will take place in Albion, MI.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time.  Memorial contributions may be made to Goodwill Industries International in memory of Nicholas Stallworth.

Nick, your friendship was as true as it gets. You were so forgiving and easy going. When bad things happen you world brush them off. That’s why this is so hard. I don’t understand and never will. You will forever be loved and always missed. Von and the kids and I will never forget your great heart and warm smile. R.I.P. brah.

I can’t even explain the heartache felt by so many… You will forever & always be in our hearts!!! There are no words to be said how much you are already missed, talk of you these last few days, nothing but good thoughts of the person you were and we’ve all witness grow from a 19 year old to the most respectful, calm, good hearted, unselfish, young man that you had become over the years. Prayers are constantly going out to the Stallworth family as they grieve the loss of their loving Nick… He is loved and has touched so many others! On behalf of all his RSDC co-workers (past & present) you will be missed deeply!!! Much love to the Stallworth family!

My prayer goes out to the Stallworth family as he grants you comfort and peace during this time.
