Williams, Jr. and several grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Matthew was a brave, brave man. His legacy is rich and his memory ever lasting. Please always cherish the time you had with him and celebrate his victory over illness. In his new, perfect body he is celebrating with his Lord. We’ll continue to live you and Natalie and Annabella up as you adjust to Matthew’s home going. Look forward in the hope, in which you’re secure, that you’ll be with Matthew again.

Matthew was my surrogate big brother. His sister, Lina, has been my best friend for over 30 years. Matthew and I shared the same taste in music and the same sense of humor. I will miss his bright smile. I promise to watch over his sister and her family.

Matthew and I went to grammar school together and lost touch after that but thanks to Facebook we reconnected. He made a visit to NY last year and joined some of us at a reunion. I don’t think anyone could ever say a bad word about Matthew- he was kind, inspirational and funny at the same time. All of us are going to miss his posts on Facebook and inspirational words. Rest in peace Matt….

I was a fellow MPB Alumn. Matt’s words to me when my Mom passed away of cancer this June were truly inspirational. He put a smile on my face when no one else could. I remember our numerous conversations via FB about our girls. RIP my friend no more chemo to make you sick. Shelley, Natalie and Annabella my heart breaks for you and I hope you find peace in your hearts and minds soon. There is nothing to say but I am sending you my deepest condolences to you and hsi extended family. May God grant you peace.

I will always remember Matt for the strength he demonstrated when the chips were down. Through it all, his transparency was Amazing. He made everyone around him stronger by the way he carried himself with all things considered. Great man.
I will never eat another lamb chop, or cook over the fire without thinking of my buddy Matt. Going to miss you my friend. To Shelley, Natalie, and Anna, may God give you the strength to heal, and know that our family is here anytime you need us.

Matt was one of the most kind and courageous people I’ve ever had the privilege to know. Besides his beautiful family of whom he always spoke with so much love, he leaves behind quite a few, including myself who who drew from his positive outlook and deep philosophical understanding of the complexities of living with this disease. In spite of his own difficult situation, he continually offered friendship and comfort. I can only hope that I was able to give some back to him.

I am honored to have had the opportunity to meet and interact with Matt. From the time I met Matt I could tell he was a special person. He was a fellow member of our shooting team and he brought great energy and enthusiasm everywhere he went. He was a fighter, a leader and a good person. Our hearts and prayers go out to your wife and daughters. Rest in Peace my friend, you will be missed.

such sad news.
Matty, I have so many fantastic memories from back in our Jimmys Days. And so many of them included you. From kitchen mahem… to private chats on rides after blossoms… to laughter… and getting drunk & stupid.
I’m so happy we had a chance to reconnect through FB these past few years.
My prayers are with your wife, children and family.
RIP Dear Old Friend XOXO

I have been so honored to have such a loving son-in-law that to Wayne and I, we considered him a son. I am so blessed to have my two beautiful daughters, two son-in-laws, and four of the most beautiful granddaughters. Matthew is in the arms of the Lord now and no more pain or suffering. I love you Matthew, Mom.

Matt was always such an inspiration to me. Being his Insurance Agent for many years and knowing what he has been through and always with a smile and a kind word. A true gentleman who loved his family very much. I will miss talking to him and know he is with the Lord.

Dear Shelley,
My sincerest thoughts and genuine prayers are with You, Natalie and Annabella. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Matt, you spoke of him so lovingly and sincere that it was profoundly apparent he was an amazing husband and father, as well as a man who positively gladdened the lives of those who were lucky enough to be in his presence. Though he is gone from this Earth too soon, he will forever watch over you and your daughters, never leaving your sides, and his adoring presence will live on evermore through his memory.
Sincere Condolences,
Amber-Lynn Harger

Linda and I were deeply saddened to hear of Matts passing. He was always a joy to be around and talk about cars, family, and life in general. Matt and myself became friends a few years back inspired by GTOs. I’m glad I was able to talk with him in July at our Vantown Church show. Our condolences to you and your family. We will keep you in our prayers.

Matt and I were friends throughout grammar school and then went in different directions as I guess most of us do. We just recently started talking again on FB. Matt was a great person and friend to everybody. Not a bad bone in his body. I don’t think I ever saw him get angry and many people in this life don’t have that quality about them!!
Matt, you will be missed and the world is a lesser place without you.
My prayers and condolences to the Mannino family.
