Marshall was an amazing man and I am grateful to have known him. His friendship and zest for life was a blessing to me and all whose lives were touched by his, but it was Marshall’s love of family, his humility and his embrace of hard work and service to others that was his most enduring epitaph! I thank God for Marshall Hines!

Marshall in my father words “The best person you could ever work for” My father so much respected Marshall that my middle name is in honor of him. My father was George (Buck) Palmer, I still remember the day that Marshall stayed with my sisters, my wife and I after the viewing for my father. He told us some great stories about our father some good and some bad. He even said that my father was the only man he never laid off in all his years working for Christmas Construction. Marshall was a great man and will be missed by the whole Palmer Family. God Bless

Marshall was a great man. I felt proud to have worked with him. What always amazed me is that he always took the stairs on every job, never the elevator! He was always willing to help you be a better person! He will be missed very much by everyone who knew him. Our prayers go out to the Hines family.

Marshall was loved dearly by our whole family and we had so many happy times with him and Janet. They were times filled with stories, lots of laughs and family memories. Our children referred to him as “Uncle Marshmallow” because he was sweet and a real softy. He will be forever missed.
