Margaret L. “Peggy” Stryker

Peggy StrykerAge 73, passed away unexpectedly, while vacationing in Missouri, on September 1, 2017.  She was born July 15, 1944, in Cadillac, Michigan, to James and Wilma Richardson.  Peggy worked at MSU in the Physical Plant, retiring in 2001.  She was an avid Spartan fan.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Stryker, her parents; her sister, Jackie Davis; brother-in-law, Sam Davis, and their children, Todd and Amy Davis.  Surviving are:  daughter, Billie Jo (Mike) Wilburn; son, Ken (Roen) Stryker; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Marisue (Harold) Mongar, Rebecca (Tom) Hyland, and Kathy Richardson, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2017, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.  Her family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until service time on Monday.  Private interment will take place in Cadillac.

To the whole family, especially, Ken, Roen, Jake; I am heartbroken over the loss of Peg. She was very special to me and I will always remember the kindness she showed to me and my daughter. Thinking of you all during this difficult time, sending love and prayers.
