A saying from the Social Meems web site is appropriate at his time. It reads ” The saddest moment is when a person who gave you the best memories, becomes a memory”. Joyce gave me 52 years of memories to draw from. She was the best wife, partner, mother, advisor, and confidant that a man could ever ask for.
When she could only say a few words, she clearly said “Frank, I have always loved you”. I always loved her too, and I will always will. I will miss her greatly! May she rest in peace.

Please accept my condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Frank and the entire family. I was deeply saddened by the news that Joyce had died. Her genuine kindness, generosity, and selflessness has made an impact on me personally. I will always remember her for those attributes and the welcoming, friendly smile Joyce offered every time I saw her. Joyce was genuinely a gift from God to her family and those who had the distinct pleasure to meet her.

Even though we are miles away now, I remember Joyce as a very dear friend in junior high & high school. Joyce, Becky L., & I shared lots of happy times together. May Joyce have the ultimate healing & rest in peace. This comes from Jonesboro, Arkansas.

It has been many years since I last saw her, but I will always remember Mrs. Carter as a bright, beautiful, smart and spunky lady. May she rest in peace. All my best to the family.

Farewell, friend of my girlhood. We went to junior high and high school together and were frequent guests in each others’ houses. I always felt welcome at Joyce’s house. I haven’t seen her in thirty years but I remember her with love. We laughed together, went to Girl Scout Camp together, and I always had better grades when Joyce and I did homework together. My deepest condolences to the family. Rest in peace, my friend.
