Keith Donald Tripp

Keith Donald Tripp, 37, passed away on August 18, 2015. He was born on July 22, 1978, in Lansing, MI, to Donald F. Tripp and Cynthia M. Tripp. He served as the dedicated Building Manager at the Capitol Commons Center and the MSHDA building in Lansing, MI.

A man of integrity with a generous spirit and quick wit, Keith lived a simple and unassuming life. Keith would want you to know he enjoyed honest friendships and what few hardships he endured were meager at best. He sought out the knowledge of Science and was gifted with a mind which could comprehend the interconnectivity of it all. A quote from Keith himself, “I am the sum of a unique nature and nurture.”

Keith is lovingly remembered by his father Donald Tripp (Autumn), mother Cynthia Tripp, sisters Valerie and Molly Tripp, his special nephew and niece Austin Tripp and Lily Ann Tripp, and grandmothers Mary Jane Tripp and Jaxine VanMale. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins, too numerous to list. Also, a special mention to his friends Joshua, Joel, Aaron and Alex whose friendships he cherished.

Condolences and memories will be shared with family and friends at Tripper’s Sports Bar, 350 Frandor Ave., Lansing, MI, on Sunday, August 23, 2015, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Online condolences may be left for Keith’s family at www.EstesLeadley.com.

Keith you were so kind hearted, and your soul full of life. Your intelligence and quick response to facts were off the charts. I am going to miss your greetings in the a.m. at MSHDA drinking your skim milk and eating your chocolate donut; or the occasional peice of deli pizza. Some things will never be understood, and many are left with memories. We will never forger you, and no one will ever replace you; you were a one of a kind~ Until we meet again~

Our condolences to the Tripp Family. We were honored to work with Keith on the MSHDA building and Capitol Commons for several years. He always treated us fairly and reasonably. It was always a pleasure to work on a job of his. He will be missed by all.

We were all extremely fond of Keith despite never meeting him in person. For those who are unaware, Keith was a much renowned & respected user of an application called Principia (by bithack) where he went under the username of zardOz. He was always available to help any of us with his vast knowledge of lua (a coding language) and his amazing skills brought inspiration to us all. He was a wonderful person to chat to and always had time to share. His wit was legendary and he was (and still is) loved by us all.
Rest in peace Keith (aka zardOz) we will never forget you and always love you.
