What a wonderful woman we knew in Miss Covert. She was my physical education teacher at East Lansing High School when I was in 10th grade. I have happy memories of her as being terrifically fun and vivacious–she really fit the bill for her profession. Miss Covert understood kids to the core of their hearts, for which I greatly respected her. Her teaching skills were so exemplary that I followed in her footsteps by later becoming a PE teacher myself. I thank her for the inspiration to become an honest, good, fun-loving teacher, and she will be remembered with great fondness.

Worked with Judy at the East Lansing High School pool after she graduated from high school. We had a great time teaching children to swim and working as life guards. Your mother/sister was a fun person and I will always remember the good times we had. My sympathy to all of you.
