We all have had people in our life that taught us a good lesson or made an impact on choices we make as we grow up. This gentleman was one of those for me. Mr A was a friend of my father and gave me my first job working in the backroom of his flower shop cleaning roses and he gave me the opportunity to move up to the front of the store where his wife taught me flower design. That job set a precedent for me on having a good work ethic. Rest in peace Mr. A and my sympathies to the family.

Remembering John’s wonderful laughter. Thankful that he was so willing to employ four of our daughters while they were in high school.
