Thank you so much, Carmen, for phoning us today. You and John were such wonderful neighbors here on our beloved Burt Lake and have been missed since you sold your home a few years ago. I saw John this summer when he and your two beautiful granddaughters stopped by the shop I work at in Mackinaw City. We had a lovely visit, shared a few memories plus a warm hug which he was supposed to transport back to you while you were resting at the motel. I couldn’t get over how grown up your granddaughters were……..I still thought they were little kids but they are beautiful young ladies.

Gene and I send our deepest sympathies and will always treasure many wonderful memories of both you and John the years we were neighbors on East Burt Lake Road.

So saddened to hear Mr Crockett has passed. My Heart and prayers goes out to the family. Mr. Crockett was one of my favorite patients and I’m very greatful that I had a chance to meet him and take care of him in December.

John was a beloved cousin to a young boy 13 years his junior. He always took the time to relate to, cajole, tickle and amuse me and my siblings at Hosley/Crockett family gatherings during the 1950s. I’ll hold his memory in my heart and wish him well on his astral travels.
