Eric and family,
Thank you for sharing . You allowed us into a sacred place as you invited us to enter you into our thoughts and prayers. You dad seems to have enjoyed life and lived it with many contributions and designed bridges. He must have been so grateful and proud to have a son that has built so many bridges of hope for thousands of students. He designed and you have built. Our thoughts, love and prayers,

I met Jeff back in 1991 when we worked together in the MDOT “Green Room”, on the 3rd shift. I’ve always enjoyed his positivity, love for his family and that special twinkle he had in his eyes. An absolutely wonderful man! In our earlier years working the 3rd shift, I liked to play a trick on him every now and then to make sure he was awake. I’d add a bit of powdered creamer to the bottom of his coffee cup and when he went to fill it, he’d get his surprise because he preferred to drink his coffee black! He would walk by my work station with a big smile on his face, shaking his head back and forth knowing that I got him, again!

In more recent years we didn’t work as closely together, but would visit with each other every couple of months. He filled me in on many family events. He was devoted: loved his wife, children and grandchildren with everything in him. Even though I don’t know his family, I always kind of felt as if I did. From what he shared about them, I know he’s left behind a legacy of love, faithfulness and kindness.

I am praying for Jeff’s family during this difficult time. He will be missed by so many!

I use to see Jeff working out in his yard almost daily. He would also be one of the first ones out to snow blow his city sidewalk and he always did the neighbors as well. I only knew Jeff from saying hello when walking my dog Cleo down the street. I am saddened to know he has passed but I also know he is working in a garden on the other side of the rainbow. To his wife, I am a widow as well and I know your pain but may you find peace in knowing his spirit is with you daily. I live at 5620 Annapolis Drive.

May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
