I was the activity director at the Martin Luther Holt Home and your mother often came and played piano for our singalong, She was a delight. I retired fourteen 14 years ago and she gave me one of her lovely water-color paintings at that time which I have hanging in my home. I hope her last years were peaceful and that you are comforted with lovely memories if her as I am.

I’m so sorry you have lost your mom. I enjoyed talking with her at Holt UMC and its Lunch Bunch while she was able to attend. And found it interesting that she painted in a group with my aunt, Marg Soderberg. May you find God’s peace and the comfort of His arms.

I have so many beautiful memories of Jane as we painted lovely pictures in our weekly paint group. We all enjoyed being together and were good at helping each other when we ran into problems with our work. I have a beautiful tulip painting of Jane’s that I will always admire and think of Jane and the fun meetings that we had.

For many years Jane and I met with a group of ladies to paint beautiful pictures , mainly in watercolor. Jane was a wonderful artist and a dear friend . Our group had many happy hours together. My son,John, also loved Jane and was so sorry to hear of her passing. We extend our sympathy and caring to Jane’s family.
