I am saddened to have learned of Hung’s sudden passing. I met him a few years ago at The Orchards’ driving range and found him affable and friendly. I was immediately impressed by his love for Ethan and I see a lot of Hung’s demeanor in Ethan.

Ethan, I can only appreciate how difficult this time must be for you and your mom. The sudden passing of a father at such a young age must be devastating. Please know that you can count on the support of the entire Orchards community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I was blessed with the opportunity to spend time with Hung eating Vietnamese food on John R, playing golf (including a week end at Treetops with Don and E.), taking cars (especially BMW M3) and working. He was a great guy and will be missed by all who new him.

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Hung Tran. I worked very close with Hung on the Ford account while at SRG, and he was definitely a team player!! He had a strong willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities while at SRG. Hung was very personable and most of all hard-working. He was a great colleague, friend, and person all around. He will be greatly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Dear Huyen & Ethan, I will forever be in debt to Hung for safely bringing me home from China after my accident there 5 years ago. He was so unbelievably strong in a situation that was so scary. It makes my heart ache that I will never get to repay that debt to him. I loved working with Hung. We had so many fun times together. He was always there with good advice, patience and kindness. His smile could light up a room and put anyone in a good mood. I always enjoyed hearing stories about Ethan and loved how his face lit up when talking about his son. There will never be another person like him. You both are and will continue to be in my prayers. Please know I am here for anything that either of you need. I considered Hung not just a friend but family . Sending you lots of healing hugs and strength. Love, Diann

Hung and I met last Wednesday on the driving range. We were both wearing t’shirts and noticed a sign saying ” golf attire only ”
We decided we were ok watching Ethan and Jason ( our kids ) hitting golf balls. The boys quickly made friends, and played in a practice round the next morning together. We also played a tournament round together, and ate meals together.
I feel blessed to have spend so much time with Hung in his final days.
He had a great love for his son, and was Ethan’s best friend.
I know this must be absolutely devistating for all of his family and friends as he was a pleasure to be around. Ethan, Jason and I promise to keep in touch and play in a tournament with you again. ” never say die ”

My condolences to Hung’s family. Cannot put into words what a great loss this is, will have Hung’s family in my thoughts and prayers.
I worked with Hung and frequently had lunch, he was so proud of son Ethan and always a topic of discussion.
Still in total disbelief, so sad… The only comfort we have is knowing he is with the Lord.

I met Hung and Ethan at the Orchards Golf course a couple of years ago and it was very apparent that Hung took great interest in Ethan’s natural talent toward the game. I would see them most evenings where Hung would bring Ethan to the range and work with him hitting balls and practicing chipping and putting. I saw the dedication, sacrifice and the love Hung had for his son watching him develop into a wonderful young man.

It was a complete shock to hear the news of Hung’s sudden passing and my heart sank because of the relationship I witnessed between Hung and Ethan. There are many of us at the Orchards that will miss Hung’s presence, his wonderful sense of humor and his candid opinions about golf, life, and dedication to Ethan’s talent for golf.

I’ll miss our evening chats about where’s Ethan’s next tournament at and how’s he progressing. I’ll miss hearing him laugh and hearing him correct Ethan’s swing. I didn’t know Hung that long but his infectious smile always made me smile as there was something special about him because of his love for Ethan that showed daily at the Orchards.

We’ll all miss him dearly at the Orchards and there are plenty of us that want to help Ethan where we can. We can’t replace Hung but we can mentor and help him get through this terrible loss.

With deep sympathies
