So sorry to hear about Aunt Georgia….She will be greatly missed by her two sisters (Atha is my grandmother) & the rest of her family here in Central Illinois. They had a great time this past summer on their visit at Aunt Georgia’s. The sisters played “jewelry dress-up” with some of Granny Grace’s jewelry & had a good laugh. My family will never forget the trip to the cabin & all the other great times when we were able to get together. Love you Aunt Georgia! We will miss you!

Georgia and my mom were friends from the 40s and Charlotte and I grew up together. Whenever I think of Georgia, I remember her warmth, charm and tolerance for the mischief of children. She will be missed by many.

To my most special cousin, Sweet Georgia Brown’s, family I send my sympathy. I know she is celebrating going to be with her Lord and the reunion with all those who have already gone there. I’m so glad we spent a week with her at the lake this past fall. What a wonderful time we had. She was definitely the “hostess with the mostest” There will be no way forgetting her joy of life and that infectious laugh. The great thing about her, after her love for the Lord, was her acceptance and love for everyone she knew. What a great lady. We will miss her so very much. She leaves a huge hole and many precious memories in this family.

I meet Georgia when I first came to Michigan in 1946. we both worked at Walgreen’s.

We lost track of each other for a period of time, but when my husband passed away 8-2-2007 there was Sweet Georgia, I was so please & surprised to see her, and of course we promised to get together, but that never happened, and I am sorry.

She was special to all that had the good fortune to know her.

My sympathy goes out to her children: Charlotte, Wendy, and Todd

I first met “Sweet Georgia Brown” when she would come to family get-togethers with my Great Aunt Floy Stark. She was a very nice lady that always had a smile on her face. She definitely fit the definition of “Sweet”. A very lovely lady. We will miss her at our family get-togethers. RIP Georgia.

I will certainly miss Sweet Aunt Georgia Brown, she didn’t let anything get her down, such a trooper. She’s left all of us who love her here on earth, but am sure she is with all her loved ones that have passed before. My family (April @ Chad) and I send our prayers and sympathy to her family. We Love You
