Mr. Ed was a true friend that we had the opportunity to know from Williston Crossings. No one will ever be able to fill his place at the head of the table at the men’s coffee. May our Lord give your family peace and strength during this time.

We were shocked to hear of Ed’s passing. He was a true gentleman and a friend to all who knew him. We will especially miss his smile and the twinkle in his eye.

We became friends with Ed and Janet at Williston Crossings. Ed was a special person that assisted with the start-up of the Williston Crossings Woodshop. His smile and kind manner will certainly be missed at the park, and his quiet guidance on Woodshop issues will certainly be missed by all members.

Janet and family, keeping you in our prayers and hearts. Ed was a special guy. He’d get this gleam in his eye and smile slowly. He wouldn’t have to say a word. His talent working with wood was special. I know there are many at park who own a piece of his art in their winter homes. I bought 4 of his lamps this year! Each one is now more special. It was a honor knowing him. He will be greatly missed.

Ed and Janet “adopted” me our first day in Williston Crossings 5 years ago. Ed had many talents but I think one of his best was that he was a good listener. I will cherish those many times that I stopped by Ed’s place at Williston and no matter what he was doing he made time for me. I realized over the years that I did most of the talking and Ed just listened. Ed’s death has left an empty place for many of us who knew him. Thanks for your friendship Ed…I will miss you. Janet, Catherine and I send our love to you and all of the Clark family. God strengthen the Clark family during this difficult time.

Janet, Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. We hope you are consoled by many others, like us, whose lives are brighter because of Ed and yourself. You both made us welcome additions to the Williston family. God bless you.

So sorry to hear about Ed. We were close friends all through high school.
I have many fond memories of going to the drive in every weekend, cruising downtown Lansing (when there was one) occasional weekend trips to Houghton Lake, “borrowing” melons from the neighbors garden and many more. Condolences to the family.
Rest in peace, my friend.
