I am signing in to share my sadness having heard that Diana passed. My name is Terri King and Diana was babysitter to me and my five siblings. She was so kind, warm, and caring; like a big sister. She also shared a wonderful dose of humor — a healthy trait for babysitting six kids. I looked up to Diana.
My father “Skip” Julian King and my mother Gail King enjoyed Diana’s parents so much. I recall Don stopping by for quick cup of coffee and enjoyed his presence. My dad worked at Jewel Tea Company, so Don and my dad must have shared similar experiences.
All the family are special folks that bring fond memories of having grown up in Detroit on Ferguson (same street as Diana’s family) until I was 14 years old.

Please know that my parents, Skip and Gail and I send our heartfelt sympathy. What a wonderful person, Diana, and fine family — many condolences from all of the KINGs. Prayers and thoughts will be with all of you.

She missed her two close friends dearly, and did express her regrets at missing your calls and losing touch. Thank you

I am so shocked and saddened by the passing of Diana. We had just rekindled our friendship after years we were neighbors and good buddies. We lived on Ferguson in Detroit. We walked to Crary Elementary School everyday , singing with our other friend Hillary Murt, we all were in choir. Diana played violin beautifully even way back then. We were supposed to have all gotten together over a year ago, but her health stopped our reunion. We were both pretty ill, I have serious RA and of course the horrible illness of the Degriselles family, we talked many times but never saw each other. I know how proud she was of her children, and family. I will always remember the music we all enjoyed at the Degriselles family home. The band was wonderful Danny played the drums. I will always remember the music. Diana, Rest In Peace old friend. Always love from you dear friend Dina
