Death’s Descent
(Dedicated to David E. Sanderson, a brother’s long time friend)
(Died: 4/29/2011)

Each life a petal of a flower
Wrought with beauty and tears.
To kiss our cheeks and eyes,
To heal our nightmare fears,
To give hope where despair would live,
And make life a gift to give.
Of love most missed in death’s descent
That swells our hearts with tears.
