Christy, Stephen & Kara,
I am so very sorry to learn of your Mom’s death. She was always incredibly kind and generous to me. I loved her laugh; and always felt at home talking to her about her life’s work. She was one of those rare individuals who seemed to find her true calling. It was evident that she loved being your Mother. It is my hope that your grief will be eased in the fond memories you have of your time spent with her. Wishing you and your families Godspeed.

Christy, Steven and Kara

Your mom was very proud of all of you and worshiped the ground you walked on. As a brother, Cynthia, and I were not close, but there was a loving bond that always was there in our thoughts and prayers. There are are fond memories along the path of our lives, which will always be forever remembered. The last time we were together, last September, we were on our boat trip up to Port Huron and St. Clair for lunch. To actually experience a boat ride out into Lake Huron and looking up as we motored under the Blue Water Bridge “made her day”. It was great to see the look on her face as she experienced the beauty of the day.

Cynthia, I know you are a better place now, by the way say hello to Dave for me. You will be missed and are leaving a hole in my heart, but on the other hand knowing that someday we’ll be together again.

May you rest in heaven.

Your Brother, Bob

Christy, Stephen and Kara,

We so very saddened and shocked to hear of your mom’s passing. Your mom has always been a true friend to our family. When going through the sudden passing of our own mother to a brain anuerysm and then the illness and death of our father she was a steadfast supporter, friend, help, listener, errand runner…whatever was needed by the family or by our dad she was there. She faithfully called our dad every other day to check in with him and if she could not talk to him she called either myself or my brother John. She was a long time friend along with your dad of our family. Her love of life, and of her family and the love which she extended so unselfishly to us will be remembered and missed.
You are all three in our prayers and thoughts as you progress through this tough loss. Remember that she loved you all sooooo very much!! Spend time on the happy memories and please call us if you need anything at all. We love you! Cowen & Laurie (Reurink) Mwakanandi

Christy, Stephen and Kara my thoughts are with you. Michelle and I were just thinking about Cindy and hoping to see her over the holiday. She was absolutely a God-send to the Reurink kids last year when mom passed and this year when dad passed.

I still treasure the times I convinced Dave, Cindy and my parents to let us skip Sunday school and go out to coffee with them after the service. Better not tell Clay Liibolt.

Take care of yourselves and know I’ll always think of that sparkle in my Aunt Cindy’s eyes.

Christy, Steven and Kara – I am so very sorry. Your mom was a godsend to me and Ty, and all of you were his “other family.” Cindy’s amazing generosity of spirit and love are indelibly etched in my heart. She was a true blessing, not just to us but to so many whose lives she touched. It is hard to believe she is gone so soon, and I know you will miss her dearly. My love and prayers to all of you and your families.
