I am a member of the TOH/Birds&Blooms online community where Cliff posted daily along with us, where he shared Scripture posts and shared his faith to all who read! We enjoyed his pictures of his travels with his son, Mark. He posted many humorous jokes and graphics. As a born again Christian myself who went to Baptist church for many yrs and was baptised by immersion, I had much in common with him, and truly lived him as a brother in Christ! Will truly miss him and havent gotten over it yet! He had just posted in backyardchat his latest pictures from his Labor Day get tog w/ his widow lady friends! Mark, you were a wonderful son to Cliff!

Mark, may you find comfort from our LORD during this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of knowing Cliff through a chat room at Birds & Blooms/Taste of Home and just recently the Backyard Bunch. His words were always so encouraging and inspirational. I will truly miss fellowshipping with him.

I came to know Cliff through Birds and Blooms Chat, TOH and most recently Backyard Bunch. I also had the pleasure of meeting Cliff and Mark in person when they were traveling from Florida back to Michigan. And what a pleasure it was. Cliff will be missed by so many of us. Prayers for peace and comfort for Mark and all the family.

I began to share a friendship with Cliff in the Backyard Chat when he posted pictures of his trip to Ireland in 2014. He & son Mark had been there a month prior to me and we had visited many of the same places. I loved seeing those pictures and the pictures of ALL his trips.

Mark, please know your Father was respected & loved by all of us in the Backyard Chat. My heartfelt condolences to your & your family.

I was lucky enough to know Cliff through the boards on Birds and Bloom and now on our new chat board. I read his posts from Sunday about the party and felt bad when I read how quickly he passed. God blessed him with a quick passing.
If it weren’t for Cliff I would never have seen the beauty of Alaska and Ireland through his photos. He took me on mini vacations while I sat here at my computer. These were sights I would never have seen otherwise. His pictures and descriptions intrigued me enough to go research the places even more on my own. I sometimes shared what I learned with him. We both learned new things about the places he went.
To Cliff’s family and friends: You all have my deepest sympathy. He was such a fantastic person and he will leave an huge hole in the lives of all who got to know him.
bwatcher on his boards.

I came to know Cliff through his “smiles and Scriptures” posts daily. He will be sorely missed.
