Amber N. D. Andaloro

Amber Nicole Danielle Andaloro of San Antonio, Texas, passed away December 19, 2011.  Born on June 5, 1977, in Denville, NJ, she blessed Michael and Beverly Andaloro with love, life, and laughter.  She was an accomplished law student at Thomas M. Cooley Law School (“Cooley”) and an honored graduate of both Texas Tech University (“Texas Tech”) and the Culinary Institute of America (“CIA”) in Hyde Park, NY.

Upon graduating and receiving numerous honors from the CIA in 2000, she worked at the prestigious Breakers of Palm Beach until she decided to open her own business as a personal chef and private in-home culinary instructor.   In 2002, she redirected her professional career and attended Texas Tech where she distinguished herself through academia and leadership.  Upon graduating “with Honors” from Texas Tech in 2005, with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, she accepted a position with Ben E. Keith Foodservices as a Chef and Product Specialist.  Seeking more challenges, she decided to attend law school to become a lawyer.  While at Cooley, she again rose to the occasion and excelled academically and professionally.   Further, she became the Managing Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Journal of Practical and Clinical Law and was honored with the award of “Outstanding Board Member.”  Her expected graduation date was May 20, 2012, where she would have received her Juris Doctorate.

She was loved by many, friends to all, and cherished by her family.  She tirelessly devoted her energy to others no matter the inconvenience to herself.   Her sense of humor, humanity, and generosity wove her into the lives and hearts of a multitude.

She was predeceased by her grandfather, Daniel Rubinstein.  She is survived by her grandmother, Lydia Rubinstein; parents, Michael W. Andaloro and Beverly A. Andaloro; brothers, Mykel D. Andaloro and Theron J. Andaloro; sister-in-law, Jackie Andaloro; nephew, Tristen D. Andaloro; and niece, Taylor D. Andaloro.  She will also be dearly missed by many friends.

Amber was the best of all of us, and she will always be in our hearts and thoughts.  Heaven gained a wonderful Angel with Amber.  With her beautiful, blue angel eyes she will watch over us.  With her welcoming smile and angelic touch she will warm our hearts.  Through her love she will continue to calm our spirits.

Her family will soon establish the Amber Andaloro Respiratory Foundation.  Contributions will be welcome upon its formal establishment.

To Amber’s dear friends and family – I am so sorry for the loss of such a special woman. I knew Amber way back in middle school and recently reconnected with her on Facebook. I remember her as being wonderfully gracious and kind, even during that yucky adolescent phase we all go through! May your warm memories give you comfort during this unbelievably difficult time.

To Amber’s family – My deepest condolences on your loss. I knew Amber in law school. We worked on the Journal together. It was always a pleasure speaking with her about the passions in her life. There was a time when I was in the office and she came in to get something and on her way out we started talking about cooking. What I thought would be a quick conversation turned into an hour-long, in-depth discussion about her love for food. She was definitely in her element. I always enjoyed chatting with her every once in a while about what she loved. Amber will be missed. It is not often one has such passion for life. My thoughts are with you.

To Amber’s family and friends: I send my deepest and most heartfelt condolences. Amber was truly an inspiration to me, and I’m sure to whomever she came into contact with. I will remember her most for her ability to turn any situation, whether stressful or exciting, into a memorable experience and her ability to just make you smile. It is my hope and prayer that each day God gives us all little reminders of the beautiful person that Amber was. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers.

My dear sweet cousin, I recall every joyful memory of the times we spent at our famly reunions. I am shocked, saddened and struck by tears to suddenly discover this tragic news. You filled the brief time you were here with a monumental lifetime of love and accomplishment. I will cherish the thought and pride of your having brought such honor and pride to the Andaloro name. I hope to see you again at another family reunion in a far more beautiful place now that you reside with Our Lord. Love, Cousin Joseph Andaloro
