A public tribute begins at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 26, at the Alfreda Schmidt Community Center, Lansing, with family visitation from 3-6 p.m. Alfreda loved flowers, and friends may also donate in Alfreda’s memory to the Little Arlington Project, in care of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Chapter 27, Holt, or to “Pastor’s Scholarship Fund” at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School.

Her family will receive relatives and friends from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
