Richard E. Jarrad

Lansing, Michigan.  Age 77 passed away February 2, 2013 reuniting him with his beloved wife Joy. He was born April 13, 1935 in Lansing to Earl and Clara Jarrad. Richard was a United States Navy Veteran, and retired from the Board of Water and Light.

He is survived by a daughter Michele Jarrad, and a son Scott (Sue) Jarrad; and three grandchildren: Latasha, Nicole, and T.J.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joy Jarrad, son Todd (Julie) Jarrad and sister Jackie (Gene) Ducharm. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his granddaughter Latasha Jarrad.

The funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to Ele’s Place.
