Eloise and I met at Grandma Pearson’s house in Lansing, IL at some point in the 1930’s. We corresponded a number of years. When my beloved husband, Jesse Lehman had a massive stroke in 1973, all my energy went to helping him and my keeping in contact with Eloise all but stopped. Although his mental abilities were unaffected, he could not walk or talk the remainder of his life. He died in 2004. I sent a note to Eloise last month. It was returned to me. My daughter looked on the internet and found the obituary. I am sorry for your loss. Eloise and I were related through our grandmother Pearson. My mother was Georgia Pearson Phillips.
