We so enjoyed meeting Roberta through MSU men’s basketball. We shared many stories and fun times at the games. We send our thoughts and prayers to Ken and her children.

I feel as though we have lost our own mother. From the days of Scott’s childhood, your family has been an unconditional extension of our own. These words will never convey the love we have for all of you, and the loss we share with all of you. Although the world is not a better place without Roberta, Heaven certainly is now. We will miss her, especially the years and years of Muskallonge memories.

Through photographs, stories, memories and togetherness, we will certainly celebrate the wonderful impact she had on all of our lives, hoping we can find a smile between the tears, which we know she would want us to share with each other; just as every memory and photograph of her, has a loving smile as well.

Where We Go From Here –

The sun continues to rise and set, each day anew and then old. Yet your loving presence we will miss in our daily routines. We will remember now, more than ever before, the times we shared together, the smiles, hugs and tears, as we watched others we loved so dear, go ahead to where you are now.

In a Kingdom of absolute love, peace, and free from worry, we are able to worry for one less of our own, knowing now, you are in the loving hands of the One who gave you life. We will miss you, but together this family is strong, and will survive, living with love and peace for one another, just as you taught all of us, and those who were honored to have met you.

This will be our driving strength, to continue our lives in the memory of you, awakening each day to not just another sunrise, but to another opportunity to make a difference in the world. You did that so gracefully and silently, just by walking in the room. We will always remember your smile and soft voice, the warm hugs and the everlasting memories of our times together.

Rejoice that you are finally home, watch over us that we may walk the same path that you also walked, and we know you will wait patiently, until one by one, we again have the opportunity for your hugs, and smiles you leave with us in our memories, hearts and dreams.

Life will be different, strange and confusing, but not impossible. As we surround ourselves with the friends and family you spent your life creating, molding, fostering and loving, we understand more, how much we owe you for what you gave all of us. We will strive to live our lives as a tribute, to the wonders, thoughts, memories, shadows and footsteps you leave behind.
