Dear Kathy and family, Our condolences on the loss of Franz.
I’m so glad I was able to spend a part of a Saturday with him and to speak with him. It was a long road and his journey is now over.
May peace reach into family as time heals. We will never forget.

Franz was an honest man of few words. He loved the shotgun sports and was dedicated to keeping that program running at the Club. The hours and effort expended by him over the years were endless. It was my pleasure to know and work with Franz. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Dear Kathy, Paul, Holly and families, I want you to know that my sympathies go out to all of you. Franz was always that quiet presence in the background that you knew was kind and caring. I did not realize that he had gotten so ill. When I called for Kathy, I always liked to kid with him about where Kathy was at the time of my call because he would tell me that she had gone out shopping so to catch her I’d better call back many/ many hours later. He knew how she loved to shop. He never was upset with her about how long it took her instead he thought it was cute. HE LOVED HIS CHILDREN AND WAS VERY PROUD OF THEM. HE WAS QUIET ABOUT THINGS BUT THE SMILE HE SHARED WHEN TALKING ABOUT HIS FAMILY SAID IT ALL. I KNOW HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL OF YOU AND HIS GRANDCHILDREN. Franz will be missed by all and your family is in my prayers. Thank goodness for memories and photos.
