Leonard O. Wortman

Age 92, of Holt,  passed away March 5, 2012.  He was born December 11, 1919 in Lansing to Oscar and Mildred (Quimby) Wortman.

Leonard was a Veteran of the United States Army Air Force based in Florida.  He was self employed, and enjoyed fishing, traveling and his time living in Arizona with his wife Marjorie.

He is survived by his daughter, Carron Maunus; stepdaughters, Barbara Miller and Bob Miller, Roberta (Bobby) Fisher, and Doris (Harold) Roose; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Wortman; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Melford (Marjorie) Marble; sister-in-law, Barb Wortman; and brother-in-law, Jack Cady.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marjorie; son, Roger Wortman; and siblings: Ronald Wortman, Maxine Carpenter, Bob Marble, and Bev Cady.

The funeral service for Leonard Wortman will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel with Pastor John Davey officiating, interment will follow in East Lawn Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
