Marilyn Richmond

Age 86, of Lansing, passed away on November 18, 2011 in Lansing, Michigan.  She was born on January 16, 1925 in Irving, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice; sister, Jan Horton; brother, Robert Gillette.

She is survived by her daughters,  Mary L. Richmond (Bob) of Mason and Anne E. Richmond of Sterling Heights.  She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Michael (Ellen) and Jennifer (Steve) and 2 beloved great grandchildren, Emma and Lyla; many nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

Marilyn worked as a Registered Nurse caring for children at Ingham Medical for many years.  She was an avid golfer and bridge player, traveled extensively and loved spending time with her family at the cottage up north.  Marilyn was famous for her great sense of humor.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 22 at the First Presbyterian Church of Holt.  Friends and relatives may visit Marilyn’s family one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.  Internment will take place in Maple Ridge Cemetery.
