Elwynn L. Collar

Elwynn Collar, age 94, of Mason, died October 6, 2011, eleven days shy of his 95th birthday.

Elwynn loved the outdoors and spending time with his family, many animal companions, and friends. He owned and operated Hunter’s Hollow Shooting Preserve and Trap Club for over 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy; daughter, Inetta (Craig) Soule; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Todd) Griese; and grandchildren, Chloe, Garret, and Clay. He also had a special step-great-granddaughter, Gabby, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Elwynn was preceded in death by his brother, Burlynn; stepson, John Michael; and several cousins and friends.
