Norma "Jean" Anderson

Age 76, of Holt, passed away of Alzheimer’s Disease on Wednesday, August 24, 2011.  She was born May 31, 1935 in Holt, MI to Charles and Pearl (Chesney) Larson.  Norma was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family.  She worked as a dietician for The Pines Nursing Home for 25 years and was a long-time member of Holt United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children, Lynn (Bernie) Balmes, Steve (Margaret) Anderson, Jerry (Debra) Anderson, Todd Anderson; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat Currin and Midge Holley; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the Holt United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Glenn M. Wagner officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Church on Thursday for one hour prior to the service.
